In a world where dealing with companies can sometimes feel a bit impersonal, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I’m Sophie, the face behind Grey Orchid Properties, and I’m excited to chat to you about all things Lettings & Property Management.

A Little About Me

My journey in the property world began in 2015 when I started as a self-managing landlord. However, my passion for property runs deeper—having grown up living on construction sites, thanks to my parents' love for self-build projects!

Before becoming a landlord, I lived in Bristol and experienced both great and not-so-great managing agents as a tenant giving me a balanced perspective running a Letting Agency today. Now, I’m blessed to be a toddler Mum balancing a rewarding business and career thanks to a supportive partner and the support of other inspiring local business owners.

Why we do it

At Grey Orchid Properties, my mission is to protect landlords from the constantly evolving legislation within the Welsh Private Rented Sector, while ensuring the homes of contract-holders remain safe and secure.

With ever-changing legislation impacting the landlord-contract-holder dynamic, it’s vital for landlords to protect their investments and stay informed.

My favourite days are move-in days. Supporting our Contract-Holders through the application process from enquiry to key collection and watching them step into their new chapter is the most rewarding feeling and I'm so proud to be part of their journey.
